It is a disorder in one or more of the basic psychological processes, including understanding or using language, oral or written, which is demonstrated in a lack of ability to listen, think, read, write, spell, or perform mathematical operations, including cognitive impairments, mild cerebral impairment, and Dyslexia cases. The term does not include education problems that result mainly from visual, auditory, motor, mental, or emotional disorders, or that are the result of environmental, cultural, or economic impediments. The mental abilities of this group, measured by IQ tests, are within or are above the normal level.
